The Kaon is Liquivision's answer to recreational divers that wanted Liquivision's trademark features without the massive complications of a technical computer, they wanted an easy to read display, compact size and intuitive navigation. The Kaon is the only wrist mounted dive computer that features an OLED display that the user can read from any angle and in complete darkness. It is so easy to use that they never need to refer to a 'cheat sheet'. The battery can be changed in a minute flat so a dive is never missed, all packed into a housing that comfortably fits onto any wrist - male or female.
The Kaon features three specific modes: Rec mode which features a single gas mix, which can be set to between 21% and 100% oxygen. A no decompression limit calculator safely keeping you within no stops times and a dive simulator so you can see your dive profile before you even get in the water. Tec mode allows the user to use up to three gases - one bottom mix and two decompression mixes, it uses the same simple functionality of the rec mode but with more comprehensive dive planning without the complexity of the XEO trimix computer. Gauge mode simply provides depth, time and temperature. Gauge mode also features resettable average depth.
The rec and tec modes of the Kaon use the well-known and proven Buhlmann ZH-L16C with added deep stop functionality and 3 levels of conservatism.
