Spring straps are a great addition to any fin as they are pretty much indestructible and allow fins to be put on quickly and easily. These spring straps from XS Scuba come with three different types of stainless steel buckle so that the straps can be attached to most fin types on the market. Fins are much easier to get on and off with spring straps as you simply stretch them on and off and you always know they will be the correct tension.
The stainless steel spring is covered in a heavy duty nylon tubing, this stop lines and other entanglement hazards from getting caught in the coils of the spring. A piece of caveline that is slightly longer than the over all length of the strap runs inside of the spring. This stops the straps from being over stretched and becoming ruined. All metal component on the XS Scuba spring straps are made from high quality stainless steel for exceptional rust resistance.
The three stainless steel buckles include a pair of buckles to fit 'Old School' fins such as Scubapro Jet fins or XS Scuba Turtle fins, large post buckles that fit most modern fins on the market and small post buckles that fit Atomic split fins. Universal spring straps come with all of these buckles so even if you changed your fins you won't need to by another type of strap to accommodate.
