Default Gran Canaria 2010

Thursday saw the return of the Tidball family four days later than planned due to some volcano or something. We dived with the centre connected with the hotel and although the centre was well equiped the look on my face when I noticed the dumpy 12's we would using must of been priceless! The weather wasn't fantastic at the beginning of the week and the sea infront of the hotel was apprantly 'rough'. TBH we have dragged OWD around at the waterfront in worse. However, the majority of the diving I did was at the island marine reserve, with some lovely topography and an abundace of fish, but tbh I was only interested in the caves. We also managed to dive a trio of wrecks in two dives. The first was a lifeboard A very small, pretty wreck in 30m. I was breathing something called air, I dont know what its purpose is but 20mins on the wreck was enough time to get a few snaps. The next dive, and last of the holiday was on two larger wrecks that were sunk by the tourist submarine company as an attraction. The 'storm' had apparantly ripped the top off one of the wrecks but both were in quite a flat state. An octopus on the first of these wrecks was a lovely treat

Hopefully there are some pictures below
