Although the University has some of the finest training facilities available and some really great Instructors, the fact is that only 48 out of 7000 this year will get a place for recreational diver training. As the only PADI National Geographic Dive Centre in Devon we have been recognised for our level of service and expertise and can offer you qualifications that are recognised worldwide. At entry level, for no additional cost, we can also add in the additional skills that will allow the University dive club to sign you up as a BSAC Ocean Diver 

ZERO TO HERO  Over the long term we can train you up to Divemaster (Hero) or even Instructor (Scuba God). Both these qualifications are great if you want to earn some money while backpacking, as these are the most sought after qualifications for dive professionals on the planet! That includes the UK where Divemaster is recognised by the HSE as a working qualification. If you should decide to take this route at the start, we can offer some great packages which are variable dependent on your availability and numbers taking part, so talk to us, get your friends involved, and we can sort out something designed to fit your needs at a discounted student price. 

SOCIAL LIFE We have a very active club and organise dives through the week. Club members get discounted prices and we will be running mid week dives for students throughout the year. We can offer specialised training such as wreck diver so you can dive and penetrate H.M.S. Scylla just one of the really great wrecks around Plymouth. For Marine biologists we have a weekly evening “Seasearch” dive and dives are heavily discounted, at the same time as you are building up your experience.
