Apeks XTX40 XTX20 Regulator Set, Stage 3

The XTX range of regulators from Apeks use the renowned ATX range of regulators as a starting point. Building on the ATX regulators Apeks have added a number of new features to improve both the form and function. The XTX40 second stage is no exception, with diver interchangeable exhaust tee's, reversible venturi system and the ability to switch the hose from right to left handed the XTX40 second stage can be customised in a number of ways to suit ones diving perfectly.

The XTX20 Octopus is excellent addition to the XTX40 regulator set for warm water diving. Rated for use in water warmer than 10^oC the XTX20 octopus is lightweight and compact to be neatly stowed out of the way until it is needed most. It has the same specification as the XTX20 second stage but has a high visibility front cover and yellow accent pieces, also supplied with a 36" yellow hose.

XTX40 First Stage

• Medium pressure ports located on a swiveling body for ease of hose routing
• 4 3/8" UNF medium pressure ports
• 2 7/16" UNF high pressure ports
• The XTX40 Regulator comes fitted with an environmental dry kit, this keeps out water and therefore contaminants and improves resistance to freezing
• Highly polished chrome finish
• Balanced for excellent, dependable performance
• 300 BAR Din metal handwheel or yoke handwheel made using a 2 shot moulding process

XTX40 Second Stage

• Pneumatically balanced second stage design
• Suitable for use in cold and warm water
• Bright chrome finish
• Reversible venturi system
• Hose can be configured to go into the left or right side of the second stage
• Front cover made using two shot moulding process for toughness
• Diver Changeable Exhaust (DCE) System allows the diver to choose between two exhaust tee's - the larger tee disperses exhalation bubbles more effectively whilst the smaller tee is lighter in weight and more compact. Only one is supplied with this regulator
• Hose swivel connection available as an optional extra

XTX20 Octopus

• High visibility yellow faceplate and yellow accent pieces
• Supplied with 36" yellow hose
• Second stage is pneumatically balance
• Reversible venturi system
• Finished in bright chrome
• Designed for exclusive use in warm water
• Front cover made using a two shot moulding process
• Diver Changeable Exhaust (DCE) System allows a diver to choose between a larger exhaust for more effective dispersion of bubbles whilst the smaller exhaust tee is more compact. One tee is supplied with this regulator
