The adjustable front allows a large variation of size, allowing the Equator BCD to be used with a rash vest one week and a drysuit with bulky undergarments the next. Rotating shoulder buckles are used to ensure the shoulder straps are always in the most comfortable orientation. The backpack used on the Equator is smaller than normal, therefore taking up less room in your bag for easier packing. The Equator features integrated weight pouches, easier to load at the destination than having to thread a weight belt and much more comfortable in the water.
