The Scubapro Evertec Drysuit is designed for all levels of diver looking for a suit that is robust, comfortable and lightweight. Made from a high quality, heavy-duty tri-laminate material that is durable yet quick drying. The light-weight material makes it perfect for the travelling diver, eating little into baggage allowance and drying quickly at the end of the trip. Areas that are prone to lots of wear and tear benefit from a double layer of material. The flexibility of the EverTec Drysuit is further enhanced by the telescopic torso design, this allows the upper torso section to move more freely and stops the suit from binding in the back and front when trying to reach up. The zip is fitted from the left shoulder down to the right hip which means that the suit can be put on by the diver without help of a buddy. The telescopic torso also makes this process much easier as the neck seal can be lifted above the head. As the zip has been removed from across the back mobility is further increased as there is no longer a long strip of brass fixed across the back of the shoulders. Elastic suspenders fitted inside the suit keep the crotch in the correct position which increases leg mobility making finning easier.
The Evertec membrane drysuit is fitted with Si-tech valves which are becoming extremely popular, the inlet valve is operated from the side which reduces discomfort on the chest. The low-profile exhaust valve can be adjusted to allow perfect buoyancy control while dumping at a rate faster than the inlet valve can add air. A utility pocket on the thigh is the ideal location to store items you made need on the dive and is much easier to get into that those typically found on BCD's. A neat feature on the forearms is the i-safe straps, these are loops permanently affixed to the suit when the strap of a dive computer or compass can be passed through. This keeps the computer in the same place throughout the dive and stops it potentially sliding off the wrist. A neoprene neck collar covers the latex neck seal to provide thermal protection to the neck area, the collar also allows the neck of a hood to be tucked inside to further keep the neck warm. A 6.5mm hood is included with the suit to provide maximum thermal protection. The feet are fitted with compressed neoprene socks, this allows a wide range of boots to be worn over the top depending on the conditions getting to the dive site. Heavy duty rock boots can be worn on difficult shore entries while lighter neoprene boots can be worn on a boat.
