MGE Ratchet Reel

The MGE Ratchet Reel is extremely popular thanks to an innovative trigger that can be set to one of four modes. The control trigger is mounted in the centre of the handle which allows it to be operated with either hand without modification. The ratchet reel is fitted with 50m of while polyester line that is 2mm thick and has a breaking strain of 90kg so the reel is completely capable of sending up any recreational sized lifting bag. Made from high quality thermo-polymers and stainless steel the MGE ratchet reel can withstand years of abuse in all types environments. All key components such as the reel spool and trigger are coloured yellow for easy identification and use in poor visibility and dark conditions.

Four operation modes:

• Clockwise ratchet, for holding in left hand while reeling with the right
• Anti-clockwise ratchet, held in right hand while reeling with the left
• Free spooling for DSMB deployment
• Fully locked for stops or to keep tension on the line
