Decompression diving is something that is beyond the training level of recreational divers - or at least PADI recreational divers. You need to have the right training and equipment, the skills to use that equipment properly plus an understanding of the additional risks associated with going beyond no decompression limits in order to deco dive safety.
Having said that with all those boxes ticked it is a safe form of diving that expands your diving and allows you to stay under the water longer - more time to see and do things!
This workshop is about how to plan decompression dives using software of different kinds and how that software relates to your dive computer.
This workshop is NOT a course. You will not be qualified to deco dive after this, but you will come away with an understanding of the planning process and how it works. Of course we do offer training courses that DO allow you to deco dive - have a look at some of them below and obviously give us a call if you would like to start thinking more about furthering the time you can spend underwater!
Decompression is NOT Tec diving, although clearly it is part of Tec diving. If you are thinking about trying out Tec then this workshop would be useful and (hopefully!) interesting as an overview of the dive planning process.
