Apeks 45m Blue Spool,the simplest of guideline devices has had a massive makeover. Apeks have taken on of the simplest items in diving and have tweaked and changed small aspects to greatly improve the spools usability. The Apeks 45m spool is milled from a single piece of aircraft grade aluminium which is then anodised, giving an extremely hard-wearing finish that is resistant to corrosion. The sides of the Blue Spool are flanged which aids rewinding the spool. A large centre hole aids letting line out while added grip on the edges of the spool make the spool easy to handle even with thick gloves on. The Apeks Blue Spool is wound with high quality, high visibility line that is easy to see in dim conditions. A high strength 'line leader' is very resistant to wear and tear associated with tying off and protects the main line from excessive wear. The Apeks 45m Blue Spool comes complete with a high quality stainless steel double ended boltsnap.
