EURO CYLINDERS 12 LITRE Flat Bottom TWINSET DIR STYLE

I've been diving these for nearly a year now and they are much nicer in the water than my old Fabers. The flat bottoms really helped to trim out my rig.

I purchased these recently and opted to go for the Halcyon manifold. It's sweet and easy to close / open underwater. Great products and great service. Be warned - they are _heavy_ they aren't really flat bottomed, but concave. This means that although obviously they stand and the bottoms don't appear curved, there is additional metal in there for strength. Empty, each one is coming in at around 15kg. With air, that' around 17-17.5kg per cylinder plus the manifold & bands - I haven't weighed the bands but given they're wide, stainless steel there must be several hundred grams in there. All of which actually goes to enhance the feeling of quality - there's no way the cylinders are moving/twisting in those bands. I found that they came in pretty much the perfect position for me and when slotted into the top 'o' slot of my backplate position them just about perfectly for shutdowns. If it helps, I am 6'1" tall. Service from Aquanauts was fantastic. Although it turned out that the Halcyon manifolds weren't in stock, they called me to give me the option of waiting or have the BTS ones fitted. As I opted to wait, it came down to the wire for delivery for use on a weekend of diving, but despite the fact they refunded the next-day delivery costs due to the delay, Aquanauts went that extra mile and sent them out next-day on the Thursday, so they arrived in time to use. They also responded politely on the phone when I rang in a bit of a panic because the O2 clean / service stickers had dropped into the bottom of the box under some packaging and I thought they were missing completely (I'm sure that gave them a chuckle and given how accurately they described where they'd gone, it isn't the first time someone has called!). All in all I am incredibly happy with them and cannot recommend Aquanauts enough.

Great twinset, value for money. The extra length and weight gets you really trimmed underwater, and the valves and manifold turn smoothly which is great for drills and if you have an free flow or an issue with the manifold! Top piece of equipment!

After seeing a lot of people diving twins and wanting to progress into wreck diving, decided to go for my own twin set. Advised recommended the Euros for the ease of reach for shutting down and with the flat bottoms, no hassle putting them down. Very pleased with my twinset which arrived very quickly - excellent service from the guys at Aquanauts
