The new Apeks WTX D40T

The new shape design of Apeks WTX-D40T wing distributes the buoyancy more evenly around the profile of the wing. Curved sides prevent air migration ensuring maximum stability in the water. High profile dump valve placed in the optimum position allows air to be dumped quickly and easily without breaking trim.

Developed with and tested by renowned technical divers, all of the WTX donut wings offer perfect trim, regardless of your position in the water. That's because unlike traditional horseshoe wings or back inflation BCDs, air is free to travel around the buoyancy cell evenly. The continuous loop of air also makes the wings very stable and streamlined in the water.

Manufactured from the highest quality materials throughout, an external 1000D Armorshield Cordura shell covers the bladder to protect it from abrasions and cuts. Dumping air is quick and easy, without breaking trim, thanks to an optimally placed high-profile dump valve.

The Apeks WTX-D45 Wing provides great trim and buoyancy control while using twin 12 litre cylinders.

Apeks WTX-D45 Wing, a low profile, heavy duty wing for use with twinsets. Providing 45lb/20kg lift capacity the WTX-D45 wing is ideal for use with twin twelve litre cylinders. Unlike some wings on the market the layout of the wing is close to a square, this means that it can be used with shorter Faber style cylinders without trapping and damaging the base of the wing. A single low profile dump valve is easy to find and provides easy release of gas from the wing while in a flat trim position. The inflator features brass buttons, provides precise addition and release of air while the elbow is positioned in the centre of wing with so that it nestles inside the gap between the two tanks. The outer is made from 1000D Armorshield Cordura to provide excellent abrasion resistance while the inner is made from a 22mil thick urethane bladder for great puncture resistance. The Apeks WTX-D45 wing provides great trim and buoyancy control while being hard wearing and streamlined.
