To the future!
So much has happened to us all this year. We've seen some awful hardships and some incredible acts of kindness. We've seen adaption, invention and creativity. And we hope that this last is what we've brought to Aquanauts.
It's the same, but it's not the same. There is a new look website, new shop exterior and new interior. We have new staff, new courses, new products, new workshops and new ways of working.
2021 is looking VERY different to what's gone before and we look forward to a happy, healthy and thriving new year for everyone!
Christmas Opening Hours
But before we move on to the new things we need to finish this year! The Online Shop will carry on as normal and you can order 24/7!
The physical shop will be closing for some of the holiday period so that our staff can spend as much time as possible in their respective Christmas 'bubbles'.
So if you want to spend those Gift Cards, grab an air fill, or just hang out amongst the neoprene we will be there to welcome you as follows:
New 2021 Prices
Let's be honest none of us know what is happening with Brexit, the "Deal" or how anything coming from anywhere other than round the corner will be priced or affected. So many shops and outlets are using this as a reason to put up their prices. And fair enough. But that's not the Aquanauts way.
For as long as we can we will maintain our current prices for equipment. BUT whilst we ALWAYS aim to keep our prices as low as possible we simply cannot guarantee we can keep the prices the same for anything in the shop for any length of time. We will try and we will certainly continue to bring you some of the best prices there are around for all things Scuba.
What we CAN guarantee is the prices of things directly under our control.
Course prices, Air prices and Boat diving prices WILL ALL STAY THE SAME. There will be no increases in the price for these items for the foreseeable future.
New ways of working!
2020 has taught us that we only need to dress from the waist up - but we need to check what's behind us when Zooming, Teaming or FaceTiming!
It's also taught us here at Aquanauts that we can teach some parts of some diving courses online! Yes dive from home!
Obviously we wouldn't compromise the learning process or quality, but frankly we can chat through dive planning, how to use nitrox, caring for the ocean and many many things Rec or Tec over Zoom. We can also do this outside normal working hours, allowing you to dream diving in the evening too!

New products!
We can't show you anything. We can't tell you anything specific. And we can't even tell you who they are from.
BUT we can tell there are some utterly amazing new diving products going to hit the market at the beginning of 2021.
We have been lucky enough to have a sneaky preview and play, and all we can say is WOW and watch this space! We will come out to you with bells, whistles and trumpets as soon as we can... but keep watching folks. They are game-changers!

We are going bubble-free and kit-free! We are proud to announce that we are running our first ever Freediver Course in January.
