Apeks Tek Set And Gauge
The Apeks Tek Set is designed specifically for use on twinsets but is also suitable for single cylinder and stage configurations. The Apeks Tek Set includes:
FIRST STAGE The first stages are solid one-piece body with unique over-balanced, diaphragm design. The ports on the TEK3 first stages are angled so that all hoses route downward to provide the streamlined configuration required by technical divers. An environmental dry system avoids water entering the main spring chamber, therefore preventing ice build-up and keeping out silt and contamination.
SECOND STAGE The second stages can be converted from a right-handed hose configuration to a left-handed configuration. The XTX purge buttons are large and easy to operate. A 2-stage progressive purge is used - press the purge on the side for a lower flow rate, useful where more control is required such as filling lift bags etc, then press in the centre for the full effect of the purge, i.e. when regulator clearing. The Diver Changeable Exhaust (DCE) System allows for a choice of two exhaust tee's to be used - the larger tee more effectively disperses bubbles away from a divers face whilst the smaller tee is more compact and light weight. Both are included with the second stage.
GUAGE The Apeks Tek Gauge is designed for technical diving, delivering clear and reliable air pressure readings, free from distraction. The numbers on the black facing are luminescent, ensure they're easy to see, while the black facing itself reduces glare while preserving night vision in dark environments.
