The DIR Zone Single Tank Adaptor or STA is the component that allows a single cylinder to be attached to a backplate and wing system. A cylinder is strapped to the STA using cambands, which are available seperately, the STA is then connected through the wing and backplate using bolts and wing nuts, also available separately.

DIRZone STA features:

  • Made using a single piece of material for structural integrity
  • Four pairs of camband slots
  • Does NOT include cambands or attachment hardware

This STA from DIRZone features four pairs of camaband slots, this allows optimal placement of cylinder cambands depending upon the height of the cylinder. For example, on tall cylinders such as twelve litre steels and 80cf aluminum the top and bottom slots can be used to provide maximum stability. On shorter cylinders such as dumpy twelve litre or fifteen litre cylinders a combination of the bottom and upper middle slots can be used.
