Some things are best shared, and scuba diving is certainly one of those things. What’s the only thing better than scuba diving? Scuba diving with like-minded people that share your passion. Joining a dive club allows you to share stories, tips and equipment (as well as the cost of the most epic trips!). Sounds pretty bliss, right? These are just a few reasons it’s worth joining a scuba diving club today…

Meet Like-Minded Buddies

Find yourself talking about diving 24/7? You’re not alone, and by joining a scuba diving club, you’ll have plenty of like-minded people to chat all things scuba diving with. Joining a club is a great way to meet new people, who you know already share a similar passion and interest. If you’re new to diving, dive clubs provide a fantastic opportunity to try new equipment, diving techniques and build your experience whilst racking up some dive time!

Carry On Diving Regularly

All too often, people’s first experience of diving can become their only experience of diving. Perhaps you took part in a PADI course, but have only managed to dive a couple of times since, or tried diving on holiday and haven’t picked it up again back home. Diving is actually incredibly popular in the UK, meaning there are an abundance of centres where you can continue to progress your skills. Joining a scuba diving club, enables you to continue your hobby on a regular basis. Aside from meeting fellow divers who you can head out with whenever, you’ll also have access to the equipment that might otherwise have made this hobby too expensive to continue with. As part of your Aquanauts club membership, you’ll receive access to free basic kit rental on all our dives, which brings us onto our next point…

Save Money

One of the things that can put people off taking up diving as a regular hobby is the cost of the equipment. Whilst it is an expensive hobby, joining a scuba diving cost helps to make it more affordable, by providing you with access to free or heavily discounted equipment, as well as the opportunity to take part in some incredible trips at significantly lower costs (all Aquanauts club members pay a discounted price for local trips, which take place from our very own boat, Outcast). Our Aqua Points system is just one of the benefits that comes with joining our dive community. Whenever you buy something, sign up for a course or book a dive, you’ll receive Aqua Points that can be put towards future purchases or redeemed for some other really cool rewards.

Take Part In Epic Dive Trips

By joining a scuba diving club, we guarantee you’ll end up getting to dive in places you never could have imagined. Our trips have taken us all around the world - we’ve dived through caves, wrecks and reefs, got up close and personal with some of the world’s most incredible aquatic species, and taken core memories which will last a lifetime. The beauty of going on trips with a group is that you get to share your experiences with others and you can be confident you’re in safe hands, meaning all you need to do is focus on enjoying yourself (and building up your diver tan!).

Improve Your Scuba Skills

There are so many different ways to challenge yourself and broaden your skills in diving, and a scuba diving club provides the platform for exploring this. Not only will you pick up tips and tricks from your peers, you’ll also have the chance to invest in additional courses which you think might be beneficial. We offer a diverse range of courses to suit different divers, from specialist wreck diving courses to rescue & emergency first response and deep diver courses . By getting stuck into these different learning opportunities, you’ll soon be showing the pros how it’s done!
