The 1.8m 6' Halcyon Super Big Alert Marker is the only choice for divers that have to be seen at sea, it also provides ~24kg of lift if a diver suffers a buoyancy failure.
Halcyon Super Big Alert Marker, 1.8m 6' SMB
The Halcyon 1.8m 6' SMB is the only option for divers who must be seen during their ascent and when at the surface. The Halcyon Super Big Alert Marker is the perfect companion for offshore and decompression divers as it stands a long way above the surface of the water allowing it to be spotted in some of the worst surface conditions. The Halcyon 1.8m SMB is inflated by using a No-Lock one way valve that can be inflated orally or with a LP hose connection, due to the size of the bag the LP hose inflation method is the best option to ensure the bag is completely filled. A standard halcyon OPV takes care of expanding gasses. The top of the smb features a clear sleeve that can take a light stick for night diving and also a strip of SOLAS tape.
